The North America Group is actively involved in community efforts to improve health and education, offer cultural activities, protect the environment and support the economy. These continuous activities include SANYO's partnership with Children's Promise Foundation™*, participation in March of Dimes® WalkAmerica®, student internships, tree planting programs, donation to the American Cancer Society® and local children's hospitals, construction and operation of a health clinic in Tijuana, Mexico, and sponsorship of concerts by students with Down Syndrome and Autism. As the world's leader in environmentally friendly technologies and operations, all of the SANYO North America Group production facilities are certified for ISO 14000, a prestigious worldwide environmental standard.

• The SANYO Blimp is used in SANYO's partnership with Children's Promise Foundation™ in giving Blimp rides to hundreds of children with life-threatening illnesses.
