Saturday, June 22, 2002 was a special day of flights arranged for children fighting life-threatening illnesses at the University of Chicago Children's Hospital by Believe in Tomorrow™ (formerly known as The Children's Promise Foundation™). On Saturday morning, these children and their families assembled at the Sanyo Lightship site, where the Atlanta Bread Company provided breakfast. The families each enjoyed a very special flight over Chicago - what we hoped would be an uplifting flight, and a nice break from the stress of coping with hospital and doctor's visits. This was also an opportunity for them to relax with other families who are also finding ways to cope with their stress. Hope floats!
