Vaughan, Canada - SANYO Canada Inc., hosted an Open House on May 27, officially opening its new Canadian headquarters (in the same city of Vaughan, Ontario as before) with more than 100 guests on hand, including the mayor and representatives from various levels of government, who presented SANYO Canada President Koshi Terakawa with commemorative certificates.
The new building has enabled SANYO Canada’s diversified company to house offices, a showroom and a warehouse under one roof for improved customer service and at lower cost. Previously, SANYO Canada shared a building with two other companies, including the outsourced warehouse operation.
Many of SANYO’s latest products were on display, including its digital Dual Cameras that shoot high resolution photos and high definition videos, Internet Radio, LCD televisions, industry-leading projectors and weatherproof/special environment monitors. Also on view were many environmentally focused products, including solar-powered LED outdoor lights, HIT solar panels, HVAC systems and eneloop universe items such as the eneloop hybrid electric bicycle, expected to hit the Canadian market next year.
