Touch Keypad & Smart Keylock
SANYO offers a state-of-the-art
smooth surface, illuminated, Touch-sensitive keypad. It creates a unique and attractive
'look and feel' when compared to today’s traditional and common cordless telephone
designs.
In addition, when the Touch phone is placed next to your ear, a 'Smart Sensor' is
activated that locks the Touch keypad to prevent you from inadvertently 'dialing'
or activating another function with your cheek when using the phone.
Handset Speakerphone
Enjoy 'hands-free' telephone
conversations while multi-tasking. Activate the speakerphone, set the handset on
a neighboring table and engage in a conversation using the two-way speaker-microphone
leaving your hands free to deal with other tasks like typing, cooking, etc.
Speakerphone also allows other people in the room to join in the telephone conversation.
Ideal for family calls with relatives and friends living overseas.

Touch phones are produced following
the guidelines of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS) – a directive
with its background in Europe that restricts the use of six hazardous materials
in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. The
six materials are lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls
and polybrominated diphenyl ether.
DECT 6.0 - The WIFI-Friendly Interference-Free Frequency
DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless
Telecommunications) offers clear, interference-free calls because it operates on
a newly designated cordless telephone frequency. The crowded 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies
compete with other wireless devices and appliances such as home wireless networks,
microwave ovens, baby monitors, home security systems and Bluetooth equipped devices.
All things being equal, DECT 6.0 outperforms 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz in environments with
more obstructions such as walls and ceilings.
DECT 6.0 is DIGITAL – providing added high security and voice protection. Digital
systems also allow for features such as Intercom, Calll Transfer and Conference
Call for multi-handset models.
Only 1 Phone Jack Required
(Multi-handset Models Only)
Touch multiple handset systems, made
up of a main handset and base with additional handsets and smaller bases, only require
1 phone jack to connect to your wall and telephone service provider. Additional
handsets and their respective bases only require an AC outlet to operate with the
main base. This provides the flexibility to place and re-locate additional handsets
without having to re-install new phone jacks.
Caller ID (CID)
The identity of the caller (if listed)
is displayed on the LCD screen of the handset. This feature allows you to answer
calls from desirable callers only.
The CID service may require a subscription with your telephone service provider.

Call Log*
Touch DECT 6.0 phones store up to 40 of the last registered caller IDs.
Visual Call Waiting*
Touch phones are compatible with Caller ID with Call Waiting services from your
local telephone company and will display the caller id information of the incoming
caller.
Voicemail Indicator*
Touch alerts you by displaying an 'icon' and a flashing backlit screen when a voicemail
message has been received.
Phone Book
Store up to 60 of your important and favorite name and phone numbers.
Multilanguage Display
Includes English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Italian, Swedish,
Finnish, Danish and Norwegian.
Page Handset Locator
Simply push the 'page' button on the base of the handset and the related handset
will beep, assisting you to quickly find the misplaced handset.
Intercom / Internal Calls
(applicable to multi-handset models only) This feature enables you to call from
one handset to another. Imagine the convenience of using the 1st handset on the
ground floor to call others using the 2nd handset on another floor of the house.
Call Transfer
(applicable to multi-handset models only) Ever answer the phone only to find the
caller is looking for someone else in the household in another room? Call Transfer
enables you to transfer the call to another handset.
Conference Call
(applicable to multi-handset models only) This feature enables a 3 way conversation
between 2 handsets and an outside line.

Listening and Ringer Volume Control
Low Battery Warning
If the battery power becomes low, 'LOW BATTERY' will appear on the screen to inform
you to recharge the battery and avoid potential missed or cut off calls.
Belt Clip and Headset Jack Compatible
Each handset comes equipped with an attachable belt clip to enable you to take the
phone with you for quick and easy access (avoid having to look for the ringing handset
or run to the nearest phone base). The headset jack allows you to use an optional
headset for a 'handsfree and more private' conversation.
Note: Headset not included.
